During Milan Design Week 2023, Very Simple: Kitchen and Form Us With Love held a work-in-progress exhibition at the Very Simple: Kitchen showroom called ‘Your Five Essentials’, that explored overconsumption and clutter in the kitchen. The public was invited to join in the process by nominating the most essential kitchen tool and voting for the 5 they felt they could not live without.

With the survey results in hand – people indeed need tools in their kitchens that help them declutter and organize – the process began with exploring what accessories could help display what you use daily in your kitchen and highlight what is useful.
